28. Nehemiah Madison⁷ Letts (David⁶, Nehemiah⁵, Francis (II)⁴, William (II)³, Francis², William¹) was born Licking County, OH March 17, 1818. Nehemiah died May 13, 1894 Grandview Twp., Louisa Co., IA, at 76 years of age. His body was interred May, 1894 Grandview, Louisa County, Iowa, Grandview Cemetery.

He married three times. He married Elizabeth Grove Ottawa, LaSalle Co., IL, March 20, 1838. Elizabeth was born Licking County. OH November 1, 1819. Elizabeth was the daughter of John Grove and Barbara Linnbarger. Elizabeth died February 17,1851 LaSalle County, IL, at 31 years of age. Her body was interred February, 1851 Cedar Point, LaSalle Co., IL, Cedar Creek Cemetery. He married Jane Ann Holderman Grundy County, IL, April 21, 1852. Jane was born Marion Co., Ohio August 4, 1830. Jane was the daughter of Abram Holderman and Lotta Kneel. Jane died August 25, 1863 Grandview Twp., Louisa Co., IA, at 33 years of age. Her body was interred August 1863 Grandview, Louisa County, Iowa, Grandview Cemetery. He married Adelia Powers Sawyer Louisa County, IA, November 22, 1864. Adelia was born Monroe Co., NY May 28, 1818. Adelia was the daughter of John Powers and Hannah Spicer. Adelia died March 31, 1892 at 73 years of age. Her body was interred April, 1892 Grandview, Louisa County, Iowa, Grandview.

32 i. Rowena Barbara⁸ Letts was born Cedar Point, LaSalle County, IL January 22, 1841. Rowena died September 28, 1912 Grandview Twp., Louisa Co., IA, at 71 years of age. Her body was interred 1912 Grandview, Louisa Co., IA, Grandview Cemetery. She married Edwin Franklin Brockway Grandview Twp., Louisa Co., IA, September 11, 1860. Edwin was born Brockwayville, PA April 28, 1834. Edwin was the son of James Maine Brockway and Lydia Goff. Edwin died April 20, 1908 Grandview Twp., Louisa Co., IA, at 73 years of age. 37 vi. Emma Sylvania Letts was born Grandview Twp., Louisa Co., IA July 26, 1859. Emma died July 6, 1931 at 71 years of age. Her body was interred Watsonville, CA. She married John W. + 38 vii. Noah Reynolds Letts was born November 3, 1861.

39 viii. Emery Letts was born Grandview Twp., Louisa Co., IA July 15, 1863. Emery died August 30, 1863 at less than one year of age. His body was interred August, 1863 Grandview, IL, Grandview Cemetery.
