He married five times. He married Martha Strawn Bedford Co., PA, December 9, 1813. Martha died September 11, 1816 Chatham, Licking Co., OH. He married Elizabeth Lair 1817. Elizabeth was the daughter of Joseph Lair and Elizabeth Lair. Elizabeth died 1835 Dayton, LaSalle County, IL. Her body was interred 1835 Dayton, IL, Dayton Cemetery. He married Ann Carroll After 1836. He married Martha Makinson After 1836. He married ----- Williams After 1836.

died July 22, 1882 Salt Lake Co., UT, at 67 years of age. She married Rueben Miller LaSalle, Co., IL, April
17, 1836. Rueben was born Reading, PA September 4, 1811. Rueben was the son of Isaac Miller and Ester Cline.
