Frank died August 17. 1948 Sheridan, WY, at 65 years of age. His body was interred August, 1948 Buffalo, WY, Willow Grove Cemetery.

He married twice. He married Gertrude Scovel Butler Lakeside, MI, August 25, 1908. Gertrude was born Indianapolis, IN September 30, 1881. Gertrude died March 17, 1934 San Francisco, CA, at 52 years of age. Her body was interred March, 1934 Buffalo, NY, Willow Grove Cemetery. He married Henrietta Hank Stuart Plainsfield, NJ, September 15, 1937. Henrietta was born Bass, Maine September 26, 1903. Henrietta died March 23, 1989 Buffalo, NY, at 85 years of age.

Frank served in the military. Frank graduated Chicago, IL, 1903. Institution: University of Chicago.

Frank O. Horton and Gertrude Scovel Butler had the following children:
