He married Rhoba Nichols Montgomery Co., NY, before, 1819.

John served in the military NY, War of 1812.

John Smith Brockway and Rhoba Nichols had the following children:

49 i. Martin A.⁷ Brockway was born Clearfield Co., PA 1819. He married Sarah Daugherty.

50 ii. Mason L. Brockway was born Fox Twp., Clearfield Co., PA 1821. Mason died February 17, 1885 Conesville, IA, at 63 years of age. He married Mary ----.

51 iii. Candace Keziah Brockway was born Fox Twp., Clearfield Co., PA December 30, 1823. Candace died January 30, 1860 in Ela Twp., Lake Co., IL, at 36 years of age. She married William Miller.

52 iv. Charles Brockway was born in Fox Twp., clearfield Co., PA 1829.
